Taking care of your spills, rips and stains, giving you total peace of mind to truly enjoy your sofa for longer. Guardsman talented technicians can carry out stain removal services and even repair cosmetic damage such as scratched leather or rips in your fabric.

Do I need a Guardsman Service Plan?

This service plan isn’t compulsory, but we do recommend this cover for full peace of mind as accidents can happen at any time.

Pricing

Service plan pricing depends on the number of seats you buy. The more seats, the higher the cost of your service plan. Prices start from just €12.25 per seat and an extra one-off charge of €21 for recliners per plan. Best of all, this is a one-off payment! so once you have added this to your order, you can rest easy knowing you’re covered.

What's covered*

The service plan offers protection for the following flaws and damages (at our discretion):

  • Stains, from a spilt cup of tea
  • Stains, such as dye transfer from jeans
  • Cosmetic damage, such as rips, tears and burns
  • Cosmetic damage, such as scuffs and scratches from pets

If you are purchasing motion furniture, you can also purchase an additional recliner mechanism plan to cover:

  • Breaking or bending of the recliner or headrest mechanisms
  • Failure of the recliner motor
  • Cabling and transformer issues
  • Handle or switch failure

What's not covered

  • Damage to the structure of your furniture (unless you have purchased the motion furniture plan). Structural faults should be reported separately to the manufacturer under guarantee claims.
  • General wear and tear of the item
  • Odours

How to make a claim

The Guardsman 5 Year Service Plan is provided by Hometime Retail Limited, Coliemore House, Coliemore Road, Dalkey, Dublin, Ireland (the Providers). The Service Plan is administered by Guardsman Europe Limited, First Floor, Penrose 2, Penrose Dock, Cork, T23 YY09 (the Administrator).

Simply report the damage as soon as it happens by calling Guardsman customer support team on 1800 806 182 or visit guardsmaneurope.com. The Administrator has the authority to offer guidance, dispatch an appropriate cleaning kit, or coordinate a home visit by an authorized technician to evaluate structural or cosmetic damage. Please do not attempt cleaning or repairing the affected product without first seeking guidance from the Administrator and utilizing the approved cleaning kit or recommended method.

How to add or cancel your Guardsman Service Plan

Adding the service plan to your order. To include this service plan, simply add this when ordering in store when purchasing. For online orders, please call our customer care team on 1800 508300 after you have ordered to add this. If you've already placed an order and want to add this service plan before delivery, please contact us and we'll assist you with the arrangement. The Guardsman 5 Year Service Plan can only be purchased before your items are delivered.

Cooling off period and cancellation You may cancel this plan within 30 days of the product being delivered to your home. Please contact us and we will promptly refund your fees in full.
